Dr Eli Gordin earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and a subsequent fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery within the Baylor Health System under the supervision of Dr Yadro Ducic in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. Dr Gordin's clinical expertise lies in the reconstruction defects within the face, head, and neck, ranging from minor to severe, resulting from oncologic surgery, trauma, radiation, infection, and congenital malformation, including the use of microvascular free tissue transfer. Additionally he is trained in aesthetic surgery of the face and neck, including rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, rhytidectomy, and other cosmetic procedures, as well as the excision of benign and malignant head and neck tumors. Dr Gordin's research interests focus on the reconstruction and revitalization of prior irradiated tissue in the context of defects following excision of recurrent cancer or radiation related complications. He is currently board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.
